The offering of a company‘s stock to the public for the first time.
首次公開發行
股票首次向社會公開發行股票募集資金。
Registration Statement
A document， along with a preliminary prospectus，which is provided to the SEC detailing the purpose of a public offering of stock.
公開聲明書
與初始招股說明書一道提交給證券交易委員會，說明首次公開募集的目的。
Securities and Exchange Commission （SEC）
Administers statutes providing for the protection of investors against fraud and malpractice in the securities markets.
證券交易委員會
為保護投資者利益免受證券市場的欺詐、不正當交易等影響的管理機構。
Underwriters
A group of investment bankers that agree to purchase new issue stock from the issuer for resale to the investing public.
承銷商
同意向發行人購買新股，向社會分銷的投資銀行團體。
Stock， Restricted
Stock which was acquired privately or as compensation and cannot be sold by the holder for a certain period of time.
