紐約注冊會計師協會準備向德意志銀行的J.Michael Kirkland授予注會行業杰出獎。Kirkland將在5月19日的NYSSCPA的第114次選舉會議暨晚宴上得到這項殊榮。

The New York State Society of CPAs plans to present J.Michael Kirkland of Deutsche Bank with its Outstanding CPA in Industry Award in May.

He joined the NYSSCPA in 1982 and is a member of its board of directors,Executive Committee,the Quality Enhancement Policy Committee,and the Foundation of Accounting Education’s Curriculum Committee.Kirkland also serves as chair of the Society’s Real Estate Tax Force and co-chair of its Industry Outreach Task Force. 

He is also a member of the Manhattan/Bronx Chapter Executive Board and has served as its president,president-elect and vice president.Kirkland’s previous service with the society also includes the NYSSCPA’s Finance,Banking,Cooperation with Banker & Other Credit Grantor and Minority Group Recruitment&Equal Opportunity committees. 

"J.Michael is extremely proud to be a CPA and does whatever he can to promote the profession and education of others,"said Barbara Marino,CPA,former Manhattan/Bronx Chapter president in nominating him for this award."As chapter president,he set the stage for the chapter to offer over 25 courses a year.He is extremely proactive in identifying relevant topics and speakers to educate CPAs in industry."

Kirkland is a member of the American Institute of CPAs,the National Association of Black Accountants Inc.,and the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy.

Prior to working at Deutsche Bank,Kirkland worked at Bankers Trust Company and JPMorgan Chase.He began his accounting career at Arthur Andersen&Company.
